Anxiety & the Fear of Our Imaginations
It could be said that anxiety is a fear of our imaginations. Often, we get caught in a mindset of negative forecasting – imagining the worst case scenarios of what “might” happen.
It could be said that anxiety is a fear of our imaginations. Often, we get caught in a mindset of negative forecasting – imagining the worst case scenarios of what “might” happen.
Ego is a contentious word, if not understood. To many, having an ego carries negative meaning. But we all have an ego.
All else is like a dream; imaginations that you cannot touch, control or take hold of. When you are awake and mindfully present, you are in your own mind, able to make decisions.
In the end, what are we, but merely human. Embrace humility.
How we suffer from lack of thinking, because often we do not want to see things as they are.
Keep a realistic perspective of the process when you set goals.
A grounding exercise, with visualization of your capability to move towards an intention.
Intentional living is the purposeful activity of spending your personal resources (time, energy, money, etc) on the things that most align with your well-defined goals and values. You can build your daily life in a manner that leads you to achieve and experience those very things.
