Not Big Leaps, but Small Steps

Remember, achieving a goal, big or small, isn't a big leap. It is a series of small steps.

Like walking to a destination, the journey is not a single action. You’ll get there through many footsteps, and likely, adjust your direction several times to move around obstacles.

So keep a realistic perspective when you set goals. Break down days and tasks into single steps.

Recognize your amazing capability to move. How many things do you confidently do each day, often unconsciously, because you’ve learned the steps of how to do them? You can get things done, and learn new things too.

Even still, you can’t do it all at once. Keep the process in healthy perspective, intentively asking yourself, “what steps can I take today to get closer to my goal?”.

Then start walking. One footstep at a time.
